Y2K and Beyond Survival Tips

This is not a Bible study on Y2K but just some helpful Y2K tips. The reason that it is not a Bible study is because Y2K or January 1 2000 has absolutely nothing to do with Bible prophecy. Nothing at all, it is just another day. There are many people that are thinking, hoping or praying that something Biblical happens at the start of Y2K but they are going to be very disappointed when nothing does. Jesus Christ will not return on January 1 2000.

Some things that must happen before Jesus Christ returns for anyone.

  1. There must be a one world government in power. Revelation 13:1-10
  2. That one world government must receive a deadly wound that will be healed by the antichrist. Revelation 13:3-4
  3. The antichrist who is Satan must come back to earth in person and he will be claiming that he is Jesus Christ. Revelation 13:11-18; II Thessalonians 2:1-12; Matthew 24:15-28; Mark 13:14-23

As you well know, not one of these things has happened yet nor will they on January 1 2000. There might be some small problems that do happen on January 1 2000 so there are something's that you should be doing before Y2K. The kind of problems I'm talking about are things like the lights going out, some computers not working, or maybe a problem at your local ATM machine. And just to be safe, I would not be doing any traveling by air plane on or a few days after January 1 2000 just to make sure everything is ok.

You should treat Y2K like you would a very bad snow storm and have a 3 to 5 day supply of things you need everyday. So these tips are not just for Y2K but what you should always have on hand just to be safe.

Things you should have on hand for Y2K and beyond.

  1. Your faith in the Lord and your Bible
  2. Food that does not have to be kept cold
  3. Water
  4. Batteries
  5. Flashlights
  6. Candles
  7. Matches or lighter
  8. Extra money
  9. Radio that runs on batteries
  10. Extra supply of any medication your taking
  11. If you have a baby, extra baby items: food, diapers etc.
